Request for proposals are invited for Climate Smart Agriculture Feasibility Study in Fiji. Scope of Work & Proposed Activities; The successful firm shall undertake the design and feasibility studies for the components of the project in climate smart agriculture including a market assessment, developing a strategic and operational framework and a comprehensive financial appraisal of projects including a cost-benefit assessment (CBA) and sensitivity analysis. In addition, the consultant firm shall carry out an Environmental & Social Safeguards assessment and Gender Assessment complying to GCF proposal standards The five main activities are summarized below: 1) Market Study on the use and acceleration of CSA technologies and practices in Fiji 2) Feasibility Study for the components of the project in CSA 3) Economic & Financial Analysis and Risk Management 4) Environmental & Social Safeguards Assessment 5) Gender Assessment The consulting firm for the assignment shall work closely with the FDB. The consultant shall report to the GGGI Pacific Regional Adaptation Lead and will liaise with and work closely with the FDB staff and the National Designated Authority (NDA) Secretariat leadership and staff and other GGGI staff and consultants involved in different parts of this Readiness project and on other related projects. Important Timelines; GGGI will convene a virtual pre-bid conference via M/S Teams on Wednesday 24th May, 2023 14:30 Fiji Local Time (11:30 KST) to address any queries/clarifications relating to the assignment and procurement process. The tender submission deadline is June 14 2023 16:00 Hrs KST For further details about the Terms of Reference and tender documents, please follow instructions as under: Interested parties will be required to register their details on the GGGI e-Green Procurement Portal (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/gggi). HOW TO OBTAIN THE DOCUMENTS: Documents can be accessed via the e-Green Procurement Portal by selecting ‘View Details’ on the relevant notice and then clicking the ‘Tender Application’ button. If you are a new supplier, you will be required to register your details. If you have an existing account, you will need to login to the portal. Please refer to the guidance documents under the `Supplier Guidance` area of the portal for further information.
