The project’s impact objective is “Young women and men in Area C, specifically in the Jordan Valley, and in Gaza live in a more equal, just, peaceful, and sustainable country that leaves no one behind and provides a resilient, sustainable future through just economies, gender- and climate justice”. Throughout the project, MAAN will seek to achieve outcome 2: “Crisis affected young women in Gaza contribute to improving quality and gender responsiveness of TVET giving them improved livelihoods and resilience in the agribusiness and agritourism sectors”. MAAN seeks to contract with a consultant to implement a gender analysis on the main institutional, social, and political impediments to women’s equitable access to TVET education in the Gaza Strip. The study should include 1) exploration and analysis of the main constraints and barriers facing women's access to TVET education in the Gaza Strip, 2) how these constrains and barriers undermine the promotion and realization of women’s economic rights in the Gaza Strip and women’s access to employment opportunities, with focus on the scope of the study, 3) Basic power analysis to identify possible channels to influence duty bearers..
