Tender Description:

Tenders are invited for Construction of 50km long x 42?OD 1000 psig high pressure natural gas transmission pipeline from Bankhrabad, Comilla to Haripur, Narayanganj divided into 3(three) Sections under Construction of Bakhrabad-Meghnaghat-Haripur Gas Transmission Pipeline Project. Eligibility of Tenderer: ? Tenderer (all the partners in case of Joint Venture) shall have current & valid 1.4 category enlistment with Petrobangla and/or any company of Petrobangla and current & valid relevant ISO 9001 certificate as mandatory requirement and ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 certificates as optional. ? Tenderer (all the partners in case of Joint Venture) shall have valid Trade license, Tax Identification Number (TIN), VAT registration, Articles of incorporation or registration of firm. ? The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the Construction of Works as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor shall be 10(ten) years. ? The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in construction works of at least 01 (one) contract of 5 km long 36 inch or above outer diameter high pressure natural gas transmission pipeline successfully completed within the last 10 (ten) years. ? Tenderer(s) will be evaluated separately for each section and Notification of Award (NOA) would be accordingly made for three separate sections. ? A Tenderer may participate in one or more than one Sections. Tenderer participating in more than one Sections must submit along with the Tenders separate set of documents evidencing their capabilities separately for each Section as per requirement of the Tender Document in terms of Average Annual Construction Turnover [ITT 15.1(a)], Liquid Assets [ITT 15.1(b)], Tender Capacity [ITT 15.1(d)], Manpower (ITT 16.1) and Equipment (ITT 17.1). Tenderer participating in more than one section shall meet requirements as stated in ITT 15.1 (a), ITT 15.1 (b), ITT 15.1 (d), ITT 16.1 and ITT 17.1 separately and aggregately. ? Detail eligibility and qualification criterion are stated in the Tender document. Brief Description of Goods or Works: Preparing, clearing, grading and development of Right-of-Way (ROW), development of works site, transportation, carrying, hauling and stringing of pipes, bending and welding of pipes, NDT, coating, painting, inspection, digging the trench, lowering the pipes, installing valves, pig launcher and receiver stations and special fittings along with related civil works, Tie-in, crossing of existing pipeline, metal road, Railway (where applicable) and Highway crossing by thrust boring, un-metal road crossing by open-cut method, crossing of creek, khal, canal, pond etc., fabrication and installation of Set-on-Weight, Aerial and Marker post, Warning sign, backfilling of trench, testing, commissioning and clean up and reinstatement of Row, EMP, remedy of defect etc. Detailed scope of works is stated in the Tender document.
