Expression of Interest are invited for Development of Tunnel Junction at Patenga & CEPZ connecting Road with Outer Ring Road Consulting Firm (National)  (Time-Based) Title Of Service: Consultancy Brief Description of Assignment: Chattogram Development Authority is going to Development of Tunnel Junction at Patenga & CEPZ connecting Road with Outer Ring Road under the ‘CCORR’ project with the financial assistance of GOB. The main objectives of the works are (1) to develop a junction to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles at the meeting point of three projects at Patenga end and (2) to reduce the traffic congestion in the inner side of Chattogram city. To achieve these targets, CDA now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) for consulting firms to provide services related to Detail Design and Tender Assistance and Construction Supervision. The scope of the consultant services are as follows: (1) Detail Design and Tender Documentation, (2) Assist in tendering process, (3) Supervision of construction works. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: Experience: The Consulting Firm must have sufficient working experience in developing countries and in similar nature of project. The consulting firm should have managerial and quality ensuring capacity as well as compliance system to perform required services. Resources: The consulting firm shall have experienced and capable key personnel with adequate number of professional staffs in the relevant sector specially for Highway Road, Flyover & Underpass/Overpass. Delivery Capacity: The consultant should be committed and prompt to deliver services in time, They have to coordinate and cooperate with different organizations for smooth implementation of the project. Other Details (if applicable): The EOI shall be submitted accompanied by a forwarding letter properly signed and stamped with all relevant papers and documents supporting the above information for evaluation in order to make a short list. The papers and documents such as mentioned below shall indicate that they are qualified to perform the services; - Firm’s brochure, - Audited financial reports of the firm for the last three (03) years - Project Experiences of consulting services on design and supervision of Highway Road, Flyover & Underpass/Overpass. (e.g. name of the projects, nature of the project, duration, location, cost and financier etc.) - list of possible resources and number of engineer of the firm.
