Expression of Interest are invited for Individual Consultant for Environmental Impact Monitoring of Infrastructure Investment Sub-projects Individual Consultant (National)  (Lump-Sump) Title Of Service: Individual Consultant for Environmental Impact Monitoring of Infrastructure Investment Sub-projects Brief Description of Assignment: The scope of services of the Individual Consultant for Environmental Impact Monitoring of Infrastructure Investment Projects will include but not limited to the following (Complete TOR and SRFA is available in the following website: https://www.bb.org.bd/en/index.php/about/tenders : I) MONITORING AND EVALUATION In IPFF II Project, for each sub-project approved for financing, the Environmental Impact Monitoring consultant will prepare Environmental Monitoring reports assessing project performance in comparison with the approved ESMP as well as any other applicable stand-alone environmental, social, biological, health and safety management plans developed for the ESIA for the sub-project, to verify and validate that management and mitigation measures as mentioned in the ESMP and other plans (as applicable) are appropriately implemented. II) COMPLIANCE OF WBG OP 4.03 Individual Consultant shall refer to the World Bank Group Performance Standard OP 4.03, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Guidelines, applicable National Laws & Regulations as well as the sub-project specific management plans for guidance on specific monitoring/inspection aspects and requirements for IPFF II Project. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: The interested consultant should provide information demonstrating that he/she has following qualifications and relevant experiences to perform the Services: (a) At least Master’s degree in Environmental Science/ Engineering/ Management or Civil Engineering or similar degree. Having relevant professional degree will be an added advantage; (b) 15 (Fifteen) years of total work Experience in environmental area including 10 (Ten) years of relevant working experience and 5 years in consulting practice; (c) Experience of successfully conducting ESIA Studies/ Environmental and Social Due Diligence of infrastructure related sub-projects of development partner (World Bank/IFC) funded projects is required; past experience of working at IPFF/IPFF II or working as an E&S Consultant of sub-projects financed by IPFF/ IPFF II Project will be an asset; (d) Experience of working in a team is a must i.e., should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills while interacting with multiple stakeholders and ability to work collaboratively with multiple individuals and groups. Experience of leading a consultants’ team will be an added advantage. Other Details (if applicable): The Individual Consultant would require providing services for 9 (nine) months. However, the duration of the contract may be increased or decreased depending on the performance of the consultant, project’s needs and availability of budget.
