Tenders are invited for ESCAPE Modernisation DEVOPS – CI/CD This request aims at setting up the future development environment and processes using a suite of software recommended at corporate level: Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, Nexus, Kubernetes. Development related to the software modernisation will start at a later stage. In the scope of this project, we’ll use the current software as the baseline to be ported in the new environment. This legacy software (1,7Mo lines of heterogeneous languages code, mainly Ada, C++, Java, Python is currently managed in GitLab, manually compiled, and deployed on a physical infrastructure (150+ physical RH7/8 workstation and a set of VMware servers). Knowledge dissemination and cultural change is also an important part of this assistance tasks. This will be achieved through production do documentation and a required partial presence on-site to share progress and best practices with the team.
