Located in the Hauts-Bassins and Cascades regions with the towns of Bobo-Dioulasso and Banfora respectively as capitals, this highway passes through Bobo Dioulasso – Banfora – Côte d'Ivoire border, constituting a 151 km long interurban section. .57 km. The section in question begins at the entrance to Bobo Dioulasso (End of the Ouagadougou-Bobo Dioulasso motorway section) and serves the main localities of Péni, Toussiana, Bérégadougou, Banfora, Niangoloko and Yendéré. It ends at the border with Côte d'Ivoire. This project is part of the overall Yamoussoukro – Ouagadougou Highway development project. This motorway is of category L1 and designed for a reference speed of 130 km/h. It will have the following geometric characteristics: Two (02) separate carriageways of 7.00m wide each with 2 lanes of 3.50m for each carriageway, One (01) Central reservation (TPC) 13.00 m wide, One (01) Median Strip (BM) 11.00 m wide, One (01) Left Strip (BDG) 1.00 m, One (01) ) Emergency Arrest Strip (BAU) 2.50 m wide, One (01) Bern of 1.00m..
