Request for proposals are invited for Development and Implementation of a Geographic Data Infrastructure (Gdi) Data Sharing and Exchange Platform (Component 1) and a Communal Geographic Information System (Business Gis) (Component 2) in the Urban Community of Douala Subject: C/ Request for Proposals No. _001_/DP/CUD/SG/DSGP/SDPMAP/2023 relating to the development and implementation of a sharing and exchange of data from the geographic data infrastructure (GDI) (Component 1) and a communal geographic information system (business GIS) (Component 2) to the Urban Community of Douala. Ladies and Gentlemen, 1. The Urban Community of Douala (hereinafter referred to as "the Client") has received funding from the French Development Agency (hereinafter referred to as "AFD") to cover the cost of the Project de Drainage Pluvial de la Ville de Douala, and intends to allocate part of the financing to payments relating to the Contract for which this Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued. 2. The Mayor of the City now invites Proposals for the provision of the following consultancy services: development and establishment of a Geographic Data Infrastructure (GDI) data sharing and exchange platform ) (Component 1) and a municipal geographical information system (business GIS) (Component 2) to the Urban Community of Douala, hereinafter referred to as "the Services". For further information on the Services, please see the attached Terms of Reference (Section VII). 3.
