1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the provision of cleaning/janitorial, ground maintenance of UNFICYP's facilities and road sweeping services, including the provision necessary personnel, transport and other equipment, materials, consumables and supplies at the following island-wide locations: 2. United Nations Protected Area (UNPA) (Nicosia) - Cleaning Services: (i) Blue Beret Camp (BBC), (ii) Camp Maple Leaf & Tatry Camp, (iii) FMPU Station HQ, Morphou Gate, Foxtrot Gate, Fire Training Area & UN Flight, (iv) Chief of Mission's Residence & (v) Good Offices Compound. - Ground Maintenance Services: (i) BBC & Maple Leaf & Tatry Camp, (ii) UN Flight, Jet A1 Fuel Storage, FMPU, UNPOL Club, Chief of Mission Residence, Fire Training Area, Ammunition Storage and (iii) Good Offices - Road Sweeping Services: (i) UNFICYP UN Flight area (inside and outside), (ii) UNPA internal asphalt roads, (iii) Old Airport Terminal for Official functions and (iv) UN Flight Second Hangar and adjacent car parking area 3. Sector 1 - Cleaning Services: (i) Camp San Martin in Skouriotissa, (ii) Roca Camp in Xeros and (iii) UNPOL Stations Linou Station & Dhenia Station - Ground Maintenance Services: UNPOL Stations Linou Station & Dhenia Station 4. Sector 2 (Nicosia) - Cleaning Services: (i) Ledra Palace Hotel, (ii) Wolseley Barracks & CO Accommodation, (iii) CMP Office and (iv) OP54 - Ground Maintenance Services: (i) Ledra Palace Hotel and (ii) OP54 - Road Sweeping Services: Ledra Palace Hotel Car Park 5. Sector 4 - Cleaning Services: (i) Camp General Stefanik & Medical Center in Famagusta, (iii) Camp Saint Istvan in Athienou and (iv) UNPOL Stations and Civil Affairs Offices; Athienou, Leonariso Station, Pyla Station / Civil Affairs & Dherynia Station - Ground Maintenance Services: UNPOL Stations; Leonariso Station & Dherynia Station 6. The resulting contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years, with an option to extend at UNFICYP's sole option, for a maximum of two (2) additional periods of up to one (1) year each (3+1+1 years). The Contract is anticipated to commence during the fourth quarter of 2023. UNFICYP is under no obligation to order any minimum services. 7. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above. The Vendor Response Form is also available in our website www.unficyp.org. 8. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. Please note that Vendors have to be registered at Level 01 or 02 at the time of the award. 9. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested vendors are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Basic Level registration.
