Specific services include under this project are to provide the service of planning and ensuring the effective implementation of the day-to-day project activities on the ground. The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Center for Pastoral Areas and Livestock Development (ICPALD) in Nairobi, Kenya. Key delivers include effective project management, capacity building, tendering and contract management, reporting on progress, and project budget oversight and control. The main task of the Project Procurement Assistant is to lead efficiently the processing of procurement under IGAD CPALD Procurement Unit (PU) as well as to provide all the necessary support to the project in quality procurement management.
