Accordingly, as part of the "Nature-Based Solutions for Sustainable and Inclusive Development (NSSID) Programme" financed by Sida, MELCA-Ethiopia recently embarked on the consolidation of commenced works of the registration of forested areas in Anywa Zone as a UNESCO biosphere reserve. MELCA-Ethiopia, therefore, wishes to invite a competent firm to participate in the said task bid process. 2. Objective of the assignment The objective of the assignment is to finalize the nomination-related undertakings and solicit inputs and consent from the community and key stakeholders on the registration of unique natural and bio-cultural areas in the Anywa zone as one of UNESCO's Biosphere Reserve sites. 3. Qualification requirement of the consulting firm/consultant Need to have a renewed license for the current fiscal year, and is capable of commanding a sufficient number of competent experts in the fields of the assignment, have the necessary software and tools 4.
