The method of payment will be in cash. Bids must be delivered to the address below within 30 (thirty) calendar days counted from the first day of a notice posted in the newspaper at 10:00A.M (morning). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on the same day at 10:30 A.M (morning). If the bid opening or closing date is on holiday, the closing or opening of the bid will be the next working day at the same time and venue. Late bids will be rejected. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Birr only) for each organized lot in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO in a freely convertible currency with a validity period not less than 120 days + 28 days in the name of Gondar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service. This bid security should be submitted from banks located around Gondar and Bahir Dar areas. The bid security submitted from any other areas will not be accepted.
