Tenders are invited for Providing the Service of Design Review Contract Administration and Supervision Works of Industrial Projects Service G+20 Mixed Use Building. Bid closing date: April 26/2023, at 5:30 Pm in the afternoon Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Region: Addis Ababa The scope of the Service The tasks will consist of furnishing consultancy services for design checking and approval, contract administration and supervision services, including all sites and office works in strict accordance with the highest standards of the Engineering profession with proper interpretation of the duties and responsibilities of the "Engineer'. The scope of the services includes all the activities needed to achieve the objectives of the assignment. Mobilization Site handing over Consultants mobilization Contractors mobilization Project management plan Preparation of the consultants work schedule Preparation of the contractors work schedule Design Review Approval and Supervision Work (Detailed design reviews Th and Construction Supervision Phase) Kickoff meeting Preliminary design follow up Review of contractors work schedule and resource plan Inspection of contractor facilities, plant and equipment Checking and verifying the validity of all insurance/guarantee bonds Preparation of quality control and assurance Review of environmental protection plan Survey verification Design verification and approval Review of technical and specification and approval Review and approval drawings Review bill of quantities Review of the contract documents and administer the contract Review of working drawings Review of construction methodology Approval of setting out Quality control Inspection and testing Maintain detailed records of lessons learned and knowledge transfer Monitor the contract's installation of plant, equipment and facilities Review of safety plan Certification of completion of activities and preparation of payment certificates interpretation of contract documents Monitor contractors progress Variation orders Claims handling Extension of time Approval of contractor's key personnel as per the contract Work on provisional acceptance Based Report on progress and payment Review and approve as built drawings Review and approve operation manuals dminister the contract and other related activities recorded by the client Review the required imported duty free materials both in quality and type and provide the necessary approved prior to any shipment is done by the contractor. l Defects Liability period Maintenance Supervision for correction work Issue final acceptance and taking over certificate Document management system Work on final acceptance Checking, approving and integrating as built drawings prepared by the contractor Preparation of investor compliance documents and standards Preparation of documents on lessons learned and knowledge transfer recorded during the construction process nd other related documents required by the client the The duration of the assignment will be 45 months The Industrial Parks Development Cooperation (IPDC) now invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in providing the service.
