QUALIFICATION Masters or advanced degree (MA or LLM) in law in the fields related to criminal law and criminal justice studies, criminology, human rights, public international law or relevant disciplines. A PhD in any of the above areas or in a related field would provide a significant advantage. In all cases an undergraduate degree in law (LLB) is a requirement. GENERAL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILL The consultant shall have at least ten years of relevant professional experience in law, preferably in criminal proceedings; Previous experience working within or with the Ethiopian criminal justice environment would be a distinct asset; Experience in undertaking similar work, with testimonials, including recommendations and letters of acknowledgment for participation in similar assignments; The ability to render consulting services in the most professional, effective, and efficient manner; Experience in establishing strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders; The ability to work with minimal support and supervision; Advanced computer literacy and full working knowledge of Microsoft Office and similar applications are required;.
