To the rear of the dwellings, the eastern boundary of the site Is defined by a 2.5m high wall and the western boundary is defined by mature evergreen trees. The rear of the site, which adjoins a back lane, is defined by an existing boundary wall and gateway entrance. This back lane, which has a macadam road surface, currently serves as a vehicular entrance to rear gardens and properties along the laneway..
