Expression of Interest are invited for Selection of Consultant to Carry out Preparation of Owo River and the Entire Ojo/Iba Wetlands and Drainage Basin Plan Study in Ojo Lga and Iba Lcda 2. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work covers the primary and secondary systems within the project area and which directly drain to the main rivers i.e., Owo River and the Lagoon. The scope of services will include the investigations and associated drainage design works such as major lined channels, levees, bridges and large culverts in the project area. The primary systems and main rivers having major catchment areas be integrated into the proposed mitigation plan.  Knowledge of flood regime of the river basin catchment, including climate change impact,  Identification of existing structures (culverts, bridges) with insufficient hydraulic performance and new ones.  Flood hazard maps The Scope of Work is listed as follows:  Detailed Risk Assessment: Assess current policies and programs, map institutions involved in flood risk management in Ojo/lba, identify gaps, and needs.  Mitigation Measures: The consultants will assist the client in choosing optimal options for preparing a comprehensive flood risk management plan that will provide sustainable flood management solutions for the project area.  Characterize the storm water drainage problems in the project area:  Establish guidelines and standards for all works  Pool of Priority works: the consultant will identity a pool of priority works which will be prepared. This will be based on existing available information and initial ground investigation to be undertaken.  Development of a comprehensive Ojo/Iba Flood resilience and Management Plan.  Detailed Design and Project Implementation. 4. SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS The Selection process shall be conducted on the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency’s E-Tendering Portal. Expression of Interests (EOI) must be submitted online in English Language clearly titled ‘Selection of Consultant to Carry out Preparation of Owo River and the entire Ojo/lba Wetlands and Drainage Basin Plan Study in Ojo LGA and Iba LCDA’ not later than 2 weeks from the date of this publication (i.e 25 May 2023).
