However, the increase in climate shocks and associated impacts on populations in need will result in greater engagement with NSAGs for humanitarian service provision. The proposed study will provide practical value to beneficiaries, donors and implementing organizations by exploring whether and, if so, how, climate change is affecting engagement with NSAGs. Understanding whether climate-induced shocks (floods or droughts, for example) or slower-onset impacts (increases in water-borne illnesses like cholera) can change the behavior of gatekeepers to humanitarian access may support improved strategies for negotiation and approaches to operational work in hard-to-reach areas. We are looking for a consultant for the initial part of research development (research timeline, plan, and tools) as well as and desk research on the topic. Deadline: November 10, 2023..
