UNICEF Pakistan is supporting the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI) and the Provincial EPI programmes in improving their capacity for vaccine storage including devices following the key recommendation from system design study to improve efficiency and establish a new Point of Entry (POE) in Karachi. 1.2. To this end, a warehouse would be constructed aimed at providing additional capacity for both vaccines and devices to meet the needs required by its population and to adequately support underserved population with vaccines and devices when required. UNICEF Pakistan would build a warehouse in Karachi. 1.3. This construction Project is expected to benefit a total population of 56,026,052 and 1,736,808 children and same number of pregnant women’s every year with potent vaccines and adequate quantity of devices thereby reducing the number of unimmunized children. This tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system.
