In particular, UNSOS wishes to identify potential Energy Service Providers (ESPs), with existing or planned energy infrastructure, who can sell electricity in Mogadishu that initially includes a minimum share of renewable energy of 15% and that will increase to 45% within two (2) calendar years after an agreement is established with UNSOS. The potential Vendor must possess or obtain the right to sell electricity to the UNSOS sites located at Aden Abdulle International Airport (AAIA) for a projected period of five (5) years and a possible extension, with an all-inclusive fee. This transition is expected to provide UNSOS with a more sustainable and economical source of energy and favor the growth of local energy infrastructure..
