The bottle should be graduated to 500ml and be made of medicinal grade Polyethylene or Polypropylene. PVC is not acceptable. 2. The bottle should have a device for hanging. 3. To prevent leakage of fluid with insertion or withdrawal of spike or continuous use the site of the insertion of piercing spike should be covered with a sterile rubber disk or bung and the plastic cover of the disk or bung should be fused to neck of the bottle right round. 4. Each bottle should be packed individually in a protective polyethylene cover. 5. The product should be sterile and stable for a minimum of 24 months within a temperature range of 30'C- 35'C. 6.
