Lot n° 2: National road n°1 (RN1) from PK 60+160 to PK 115+120 with crossing of Kara (PK 102+440 to PK 115+120) in 2x2 lanes general construction site installations; clearing of earthworks' rights-of-way; demolition work and preparation for the start of the work; earthworks (stripping 430,000 m2, borrow embankments 188,900 m3); planing of the existing road surface; the widening of the platform and the reinforcement of the pavement according to the typical cross-sections (recycling of the existing base layer with addition of lateritic gravelly GL for GLc foundation layer 156 900 m3, crushed gravel for 1st base layer 67 800 m3, grave bitumen GB for 2nd base layer 60 500 m3, bituminous concrete for road surface 35,100 m3); the construction of a transverse and longitudinal road drainage system; the development of fifteen (15) intersections with concrete pavement at roundabouts; the implementation of vertical and horizontal signage; the extension of the existing structures OH54 and OH59 by two (02) open gantries with a straight opening of 8.70m at PK 106+421 and PK 111+853; the construction of one (01) reinforced concrete girder bridge with 3 spans of 13.9m at PK 110+014; photovoltaic street lighting for the Kara urban crossing. 3. The procedure will be conducted by international competition using a Request for Bids (RFP) as defined in the World Bank Procurement Framework for Borrowers Seeking Investment Project Financing (IPF) of November 2020, and open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
