The Scope of Works entails: (a) Construction of Diversion works (b) Construction of zoned earth fill dam with 20m (c) Construction of a side channel spillway located on the right bank of the dam, designed to discharge a flood of 29.2 m3 /s, with a return period of 10,000y comprising an ogee weir, approach channel, a flow control structure with a trough channel parallel to it, a discharge or chute channel, energy dissipator and exit tail channel (d) Construction of outlet works comprising an approach channel, intake tower, water conveyance conduit and terminal structures (e) Construction of irrigation network comprising of: Lined main and secondary canals.
