Illustrate the opportunities for RBF mechanisms to incentivize local and community-based climate adaptation efforts in urban informal settlements. * Illustrate how RBF mechanisms can incentivize local engagement in climate adaptation efforts in urban informal settlements. Ultimately; this study—through the format of a global report—aims to inform policymakers; development practitioners; and stakeholders about the imperative of embracing community-led climate adaptation planning and the vital role of RBF in supporting sustainable and equitable outcomes in urban informal settlements. The study will contribute to the broader discourse on climate resilience and advocates for the adoption of inclusive strategies that empower and prioritize the voices of those residing in urban informal settlements..
