The Consultant will be engaged by the Task Team for the Eastern Africa Regional Digital Integration Project at the World Bank and will need to liaise with the EAC; IGAD and member states as needed to undertake a technical study on cybersecurity skills development initiatives in Eastern Africa; to include a stocktake of existing initiatives; a gap analysis identifying main weaknesses and opportunities to enhance the existing landscape of cybersecurity skills and capacity building; develop a set of recommendations on good; scalable practices to enhance cyber skills and capabilities in the region. . The activity will also include the delivery of workshops and presentations to cybersecurity stakeholders of EAC; IGAD and their member countries to present the findings and offer recommendations for their implementation. The host organizations will be covering the logistics of the validation workshop (venue; organization and light catering). Up to five presentations may be requested to be made virtually for member states and or at African cybersecurity events.Detailed Terms of Reference is attached..
