This will be achieved through the generation and dissemination of evidence-based; technical; and knowledge products and advisory services that analyze resilient and inclusive urbanization processes across the PICs; including resilient spatial planning investments. Building on existing efforts across the region to develop unique climate change adaptation and risk analysis for small island developing states; the assignment would support activities that improve the understanding of the near- and longer-term disaster and climate risks and needs in growing Pacific urban environments and the policies and investments required to ensure longer-term resilience. This work will provide support to PIC governments to: (i) improve knowledge and analytical capacity for understanding the climate change risks and adaptation options within urban and peri-urban environments; (ii) build capacity for risk-informed urban spatial planning and management; and (iii) build capacity to rationalize and prioritize allocation of funds for urban resilience and climate change adaptation investments. Consultancy service is sought to perform the following tasks :Task 1. Regional Analytical Study; Task 2. City-Level Case Study; and Task 3. Knowledge Exchange and Capacity Building..
