A Major Challenge for Institutional Investors to Increase Their Participation in Private Debt Opportunities in Developing Economies is the Need to Create Sufficiently Diversified Portfolios of Qualifying Assets that can be Credit-Enhanced into Investment Grade Securities. Ifc Envisions that its Warehousing and Securitization Platform would Co-Finance New Loans by Mdbs at Origination; With the Intention of only Holding the Loans until They could be Packaged and Transformed into Investable Securities for Institutional Investors. The Warehouse would Support the Creation of a Pool of Assets that would be Available for Sale to Institutional Investors; The Asset Pool would Require an Appropriate Distribution Mechanism that Meets the Requirements of Institutional Investors. In Close Collaboration with Ifc’S Core Project Team; The Project Consultant would Advise Ifc in Four Key Areas:1.Investor Demand for Emerging Market Loans Which can be Complemented by the Results of the 2023 Global Emerging Markets (Gems) Risk Database Consortium Survey.2.Characteristics of Underlying Loan Portfolio 3.Characteristics of the Warehouse & Distribution vehicles4.Establishing the Structure The Wbg Reserves the Right to Publicly Disclose Contract Award Information, including but not Limited to, Name of Company Receiving the Award, Brief Description of Services, and Contract Award Amount, for Any Contract Award Valued over Us$250,000.
