The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan (“GoU”) recognizes the need for increasing access to quality imaging diagnostics services. The Ministry of Health (“MoH”) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (“MoEF”) (together the “Client” or the “Clients”) requested services of the International Finance Corporation (IFC); a member of the World Bank Group; to structure and implement a Public-Private Partnership (“PPP”) in imaging diagnostics services in three oblasts (the Project). The three regions will be selected and confirmed by the Government with IFC’s assistance. The objective of the Project is to attract a reputable and qualified private sector investor; through a competitive transparent tender process under a long-term PPP agreement. It is envisioned that the private sector investor(s) will either use existing public facilities or build new centers in the three select regions; equip; maintain; and operate the centers and provide the imaging diagnostics services to a certain number of public hospitals on the basis of references of patients to be made by the Government; entitled to and in need of this medical service. It is envisioned that the PPP will follow a hub and spoke model. However; alternative models can also be cons. The last date to submit your bid for this tender was 10 Jul 2023.
