The Consultant’s core duties will include but not limited to: ➢ determining energy consumption in selected public institutions and determining the current level of consumption and potential savings through an energy audit, ➢ coming up with intervention strategies that could be employed to realise the potential savings, ➢ determining the level of financing needed to roll out the energy efficiency intervention measures, ➢ Reviewing and recommending appropriate institutional arrangements for implementation, ➢ Reviewing and updating the Energy Efficiency Policy taking into consideration the study findings, and ➢ dissemination and capacity building in the form of a workshop during which the consultant will train stakeholders with a key role in rolling out the designed program.
