The DEPARTMENT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRANSPORT in Australia from Australia region had released this tender for Request for Tender for 23C131 Supply of Aboriginal Workforce for Departmental Infrastructure Projects Description: The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) is committed to improving the social and economic wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander South Australians by developing and implementing initiatives that support and strengthen cultural identify, and the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal people and communities. The Department is seeking to establish a partnership with a Service Provider with the necessary capabilities, experience, and resources to provide a central point of contact between the Department and the Aboriginal job seeker community. This partnership will enable the Department’s projects to engage Aboriginal trainees and apprentices and will be initially implemented as part of upcoming Departmental Alliance contracts. The engagement will be for an initial period of 12 months, and the Service Provider is expected to successfully engage at least 10 apprentices / trainees to work on a Department project for the full duration of 12 months. Should the engagement be successful, the Department will consider extending the engagement. This procurement is an Aboriginal-identified procurement opportunity and will be an open call to Aboriginal businesses only.  To respond to this Request for Tender (RFT), the Tenderer must meet the minimum requirements, as follows: MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Compliance and agreement with contract terms and conditions.
