To achieve this, we are seeking a partner organisation that can provide comprehensive education programs targeting schools as well as the broader community. The primary objectives of this initiative are: To support East Waste’s Strategic Vision, Targets and KPI’s by providing education to schools and the broader community within East Waste constituent Council’s areas focusing on waste reduction targets, strategies and the principles of the circular economy. To work in partnership with East Waste’s Leader of Education and Promotions to deliver the Why waste it? program. To support the delivery of the state-wide Which Bin? program and education resources. To promote behavioral changes that support waste avoidance, reduction, recycling, and sustainable waste management practices. To raise awareness about the environmental and economic benefits of waste reduction and the circular economy. To empower individuals to take action and become advocates for waste reduction in their school and local communities. The successful organisation will be responsible for the following key activities: Developing and delivering innovative and engaging educational content and resources tailored to different age groups and target audiences. Delivering school education programs that are Australian curriculum-aligned. Conducting interactive workshops, presentations, and training sessions on waste reduction and the circular economy in schools and community settings. Collaborating with local councils and educational institutions to coordinate the program and ensure its effective implementation. Monitoring and evaluating the program's impact, including gathering feedback from participants and providing regular progress reports. Providing ongoing support programs to schools and communities to ensure that significant waste reduction and recycling goals are achieved.
