Port Augusta City Council wishes to replace existing footpaths where existing footpaths have reached the end of their useful life and to continue to build on new footpath infrastructure through the continuation of Councils connectivity program.
The new and replacement footpaths will be square concrete pavers. Council will prepare (box out and compact) the path and supply crusher dust for the bedding sand. The contractor will prepare the bedding sand and supply, and lay, the pavers as per the specifications.
Works are to be scheduled to start September 2023 and completed no later than 31 May 2024. Works not completed by this time will be tendered as part of a future program (they will not roll over to the next financial year). In order to complete the works Council may award this work to two or more contractors.
Council will enter into a Works Agreement with the successful respondent.
