The MINISTRY OF WORKS, MUNICIPALITIES AFFAIRS AND URBAN PLANNING (WORKS AFFAIRS) in Bahrain from Middle East region had released this tender for Tenders are invited for Civil Maintenance Works to All Government Buildings. Execute 24/7 Emergency Maintenance and Repairs Works to all Government Buildings within Kingdom of Bahrain with 24 hours’ standby at Contract period shall be 6 months after the award of work or Contract period shall be from awarding the contract until complete utilizing the contract Sum whichever is the longest, as per the S.O Instruction. 1. Repair of Doors - Replace Door Locks, Door Closer, Ironmongeries, Stopper, and Glass 2. Repair of Windows - Replace Broken Glass, Handle, Sealant & Fly Mesh 3. Repair of Walls - Repair Cracks, Plaster, & Replace Tiles 4. Repair of Floor - Repair of Cracks, Replace Damaged Tiles, Grouting, & Sealant 5. Ceiling Works - Replace Damaged Ceiling, Repair, Remove & Re-Fix Ceiling Tiles 6. Cutting of Walls/Floor - Opening or Case for Pipes 7. Painting Works - Repaint/Touch-up Concrete, Wooden & Metal Surfaces Closing Date 26-03-2023 Opening Date 27-03-2023 How to Participate Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender are able to get the Tender Documents online through the Internal tender services Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (works Affairs) website or the Bahrain e-Government – (https://www.bahrain.bh) starting from advertising date. Contractors should have a valid qualification license and registered with Cost Engineering Directorate in the Ministry of works, municipalities and urban planning and have commercial register in the same field. (Only for contractors and projects listed by the Category mentioned above. The tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002. As per the cabinet edicts no.s (6-2416) of 2017 and ( 4-2516) of 2019 , registered SME’s will be offered a preference of 10% in tenders and auctions related to service utilities inside purchasing authority premises. In case there is another applicable preference percentage ,the higher of them will be offered to SME's. The bids should be deposited in the tender box at the Tender unit at 6th floor New Building, Ministry of Works municipalities Affairs and Planning –as per the above mentioned date.
