The PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (PWD) in Bangladesh from Asian region had released this tender for Tenders are invited for Construction of Dhamrai Upazilla Model Mosque, and Islamic Cultural Center (3 Storied Building with 3 storied Foundation) at Dhamrai, Dhaka under the Project of Establishing 560 Model Mosques and Islamic Cultural Centers each and every Zila and Upazila of Bangladesh. Eligibility of Tenderer: a) The minimum number of years of General Experience of the tenderer in the construction works as Prime Contractor or Sub-contractor or Management Contractor Shall be 10 (Ten) years. b) Having minimum experience as a prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in successful completion of at least 1 (one) number of Building with Sanitary, water supply and internal electrification works of minimum 800.00 (Eight Hundred) Lakh in a single contract within last 05(Five) years in any Government / Semi-Government/Autonomous organization of Bangladesh. c) The tenderers shall have a minimum average annual construction turnover during last 5 (five) financial years of Tk 1500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred) Lakh. d) The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit facilities of the tenderer shall be Tk. 350.00 (Three Hundred and Fifty) Lakh. In Case of Credit facilities, Letter of Commitment for Bank’s Undertaking for Line of Credit as per form PW3-7 uploaded in CPTU website must be submitted for this purpose. (Failing to submit in form PW3-7 will make the tenderer non-responsive). e)The minimum tender capacity shall be Tk. 900.00 (Nine Hundred) Lakh. g)The tenderer must accept the pro-rata progress and Contractor Must follow pro-Rata Progress as stated in TDS. Failure to follow pro-rata progress during the contract period will be treated as Fundamental Breach of Contract. h) The tenderer must posses i) Up-to-date income tax clearance certificate. ii) Valid VAT registration certificate. iii) Up-to-date trade license. iv) Up-to-date ABC category contractor and supervisory license from Electricity Licensing Board, Government of Bangladesh. v) Details of notice and other required eligibility and conditions of the tenderer are shown in Tender Data Sheet of tender documents.
