The DEPARTMENT OF DISASTER MANAGEMENT in Bangladesh from Asian region had released this tender for Expression of Interest are invited for Consulting Firm (National) for Providing Detailed Architectural, Structural and Other Relevant Engineering Design & Drawings (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Firefighting) and Full Time Supervision of Construction of National Disaster Management Research & Training Institute Project (1st Phase) at Gazipur, Bangladesh. Consulting Firm (National)  (Time-Based) Brief Description of Assignment: This Project is being Implemented by Department of Disaster Management (DDM) under the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) where i) 10 storied Foundation Academic cum Administrative Building up to 2nd floor (1St Phase) ii) 6 Storied Foundation Hostel building for accommodation up to 2nd floor (1St Phase), iii) Relevant service facilities will be Constructed in the 1st Phase. Entity would like to engage a consulting firm. The required service includes but not limited to: (a) To carryout layout plan of the whole site with detailed architectural plans, structural and other relevant engineering design (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting) for the project. (b) To prepare Detail Estimate, BOQ, Technical Specification and Tender Documents of the construction contract/s. (c)To assist the Employer in the tendering procedures for selection of contractor/s. (d) Full time supervision of the project. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: 1. Background of the firm with brochure. 2. Experience and expertise of the firm. a) Local firms who have minimum 15 (Fifteen) years of experience in architectural consultancy and having past consultancy experience of at least 2 (two) similar in nature minimum 6 storied building of Government or autonomous organization and among them at least one project should be completed. The work completion certificate shall have to be issued by the officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent officer of the concerned Department/Organization. b) Submit Company profile with detail information or experienced professional such as Architect, Structural Engineer, Electrical engineer, Plumbing Engineer, HVAC Engineer, and other related experts. c) Submit information regarding financial capacity and VAT registration, up to date income tax clearance certificate, trade license etc. d) Submit documentary evidence against experience, professional, resource and capacity as mentioned above. e) Interested firms may obtain further information from the above address during normal office hour.
