The Directorate General of Health Services now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Equipment for Modern Microbiological Laboratory with rt-PCR. The goods will include Biosafety Cabinets Class II-A2, PCR Workstation, – 20°C Freezers, 2-8°C Freezers, Refrigerate Centrifuge (2-8°C Freezers; 24 Well), Table top Centrifuge (24 Well), Plate Centrifuge (96 Well), Ordinary Centrifuge (8 Well), Water Bath, Dry Heating Block (24 wells), Vortex Mixer, Single-channel Pipette (variable from 1 - 10 µl), Single-channel Pipette (variable from 2 - 20 µl), Single-channel Pipette (variable from 10 - 100 µl), Single-channel Pipette (variable from 20 -200 µl), Single-channel Pipette (variable from 200 - 1000 µl), Multi (8)-channel Pipette (variable from 2 -20 µl), Multi (8)-channel Pipette (variable from 20 -200 µl), Racks for Single-channel Pipette - 6 positions, Real Time PCR Machine, Automated Nucleic Acid Extractor, Cooling Rack, Autoclave Basic Unit for Waste Management. 3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Fourth Edition, November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Director, COVID-19 Emergency Response and Pandemic Preparedness Project, Directorate General of Health Services, Address as specified below. In addition, Softcopy of the bidding documents is available (for view only) at website www.dghs.gov.bd for information only. 5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 100 or Equivalent. The method of payment will be in e-GP System. The document will be sent by e-GP System. 6. Bids must be delivered through e-GP System on or before 1500 hours Bangladesh Time (GMT + 6 hours) on 16 May 2023. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in e-GP System at 1500 hours Bangladesh Time on 16 May 2023. 7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD 45,000 or Equivalent. 8.
