The DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FAMILY PLANNING in Bangladesh from Asian region had released this tender for Expression of Interest are invited for Selection of A Firm/Organization for Study on NSV and Male Involvement of FP Services in Bangladesh Title Of Service: Selection of A Firm/Organization for Study on NSV and Male Involvement of FP Services in Bangladesh Brief Description of Assignment: Selection of A Firm/Organization for “Study on NSV and Male Involvement of FP Services in Bangladesh” A term of references (TOR) can be collected from the undersigned office during office hour. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: Required experiences of the firm/organization The study team for this work will have the following professional qualifications: i) Will be a reputed firm/organization with proven record of conducting impact evaluations relating to interventions in Health Population and Nutrition (HPN) sector on target populations in Bangladesh or similar context; ii) Will have extensive knowledge of population, Family Planning Maternal Child Health (FP-MCH) & Adolescents health programs, gender issues etc; iii) Previous experience or exposure to FP-MCH programs implemented by DGFP under MOHFW; iv) Solid experience in designing and conducting large scale national level research study; v) Experienced in working and managing relations with multiple stakeholders in population sector; vi) The evaluation team should have advanced University degree (Master’s or higher) preferably in public health, population sciences, social science, or related field; vii) Familiar with field level programs implemented by the DGFP; viii) Project management experience and ability to meet deadline is essential; ix) Knowledge on GO, NGO sector and donor organizations working in HPN sector; x) Commendable knowledge on geo-religious-cultural factors that impact regional variation in FP-MCH performance. The Clinical Contraception Service Delivery Program (CCSDP), Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) under Medical Education & Family Welfare Division of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare now invites eligible firms/organizations to indicate the interest in providing the services. Interested firms/organizations are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. This shall require substantiation through submission of documents describing similar assignments, experience availability of appropriate professional qualification and experience among applicant’s staff, resources, logistic capability etc. to carry out the assignment. Short-Listed firms/organizations will be selected upon evaluation of Submitted EOIs of the eligible applicants and The Request for Proposal (RFP) document will be issued in their favor. The Firm will be selected using Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method in accordance with the PPA-2006 and PPR-2008. The firm also requested to submit below documents along with their EOIs: • Concept paper (max. six pages) • Budget breakdown (draft) • Annual audit report (min. 3 yrs.)
