Contract description Lot 1: Extension and upgrade of the existing TETRA network of the Ministry of Interior including implementation of additional base stations (with complete infrastructure and connecting microwave systems) and continued migration towards a fully IP based network; Lot 2: Supply of a centralized national emergency call management system using the EU wide Number 112, on multiple sites within the territory of the beneficiary country. Both lots include supply, delivery, unloading, installation, integration, interfacing to each other and external networks, testing, commissioning, training and support under warranty. 7. Indicative number and titles of lots 2 lots: Lot 1: Upgrade/extension of TETRA network (TETRA IV); Lot 2: Implementation of the E-112 emergency call system. 8. Intended timing of publication of the contract notice July/August 2019 9. Additional information In case of Lot 1 the full compatibility and integration with the TETRA technology implemented in Phases 1 to 3 has to be assured. 10. Legal basis(1) Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action and IPA II. — See Annex A2 of the practical guide.
