The University of Li ge 3P in Belgium from Europe region had released this tender for The roofs of building B28 which date from the construction of the building 1978 are seriously damaged and need to be renovated Several B28 roofs have an asbestos underlay in fibrous form making the renovation of these roofs particularly complex Asbestos removal is carried out via a framework agreement that ULi ge has concluded with an asbestos remover The present work consists of - replacing the slate roof covering with zinc sheets and thermal insulation of the roofs including the replacement of asbestos-containing underlayment - securing roofs for their subsequent maintenance - the replacement of slate facade cladding with zinc sheets and thermal insulation of the cladding - the replacement of the wooden frames included in the new zinc cladding with aluminum frames with new glazing all with high-performance thermal insulation - the renovation of existing wooden frames excluding new zinc cladding with new glazing all with efficient thermal insulation - replacement of exterior shutters south facades - electrical compliance and replacement of lighting fixtures with low energy consumption LED lighting fixtures - replacement of the outdated fire detection installation - upgrading ventilation equipment where applicable - upgrades to lightning rods - interior finishing of premises under roof This is a contract which includes several phases of work - phase 4 broken down into 2 parts phase 4 1 and phase 4 2 firm tranche - phase 5 1st conditional tranche - Phase 6 2nd conditional tranche Each conditional tranche will be lifted subject to budgetary availability The conditional tranches phase 5 and phase 6 would be lifted around March 2027 and March 2028 respectively subject to budget availability for each tranche Place of execution Institut Montefiore All e de la D couverte 10 Quartier Polytech 1 building B28 in 4000 Li ge The contract is divided into lots as follows Lot 1 Structure Lot 2 Roofs-Scladding Lot 3 Aluminum joinery Lot 4 Wooden joinery - Finishing Lot 5 Electricity and HVAC with tender notice no.
