Following the floods which affected the province of Li ge in 2021 the SPI the territorial development agency for the province of Li ge is undertaking resilient reconstruction work on the banks of the Ho gne the watercourse passing through the commune of Theux The works contract in question consists of the leveling of the threshold with longitudinal reprofiling upstream and downstream of the Raxhon dam Non-exhaustively the description of the work is as follows - Demolition of the upstream invert of the reinforced concrete dam - Demolition of part of the threshold of the reinforced concrete dam - Localized reduction in the thickness of the downstream invert of the reinforced concrete dam - Demolition of the valve and the dam operating mechanisms - Demolition of the reinforced concrete fish ladder - Construction of a raft - Closure of the entrance to the reach and creation of a reinforced concrete reinforcement beam - Ballast of the basement of the concrete dam building - Development of indented thresholds and structures using parallel-sided riprap - Development of the bed of the Ho gne including a fish pass using raw riprap - Localized protection of the AIDE collector
