The specific objective of the project is to transform the agricultural sub-sector into a viable and inclusive business opportunity, in order to promote the improvement in production and productivity necessary to improve the livelihoods of beneficiaries along the value chains. priorities (rice and maize). The IAVCDP aims to: (i) increase the incomes of smallholders and agricultural service providers; (ii) facilitate the development of rural enterprises and institutions involved in the maize and rice value chains; and (iii) develop producer organizational structures that represent their needs and interests; improve the institutional capacity and the quality of agricultural services provided by public and private institutions and producer organizations. By improving their capacities, farmers' organizations will have the ability to improve market access and provide, manage and finance services to their members with a focus on increasing quality seeds, equipment..
