The PIRDOP COMMUNITY in Bulgaria from Europe region has released this tender for The subject of the public procurement includes the activities of snow removal from roads patrol and periodic clearing of snow banks drifts and snow drifts and removal of compacted snow and ice layers securing roads against slipping spreading mineral materials sanding with sand stone fractions slag sand-salt mixture or chemicals sodium chloride on the IV class road network on the territory of the Municipality of Pirdop and on the street network of the Municipality of Pirdop The following activities will be carried out during the implementation of this public procurement Clearing roads from snow snow removal Winter snow removal is carried out as necessary at any time of the day The contractor must ensure regardless of changes in the weather conditions normal passability of the road network for the entire period of execution of the contract Snow removal includes cleaning the snow cover by successively pushing the snow from the road axis to the shoulders to the extent required for the respective level of winter maintenance All snow masses on the shoulders that obstruct or reduce visibility must be removed and the necessary conditions for traffic safety must be provided The activities must be carried out in a timely fast and high-quality manner and conditions must be provided for the normal flow of traffic and for the protection of roads from the formation of snowdrifts during snowstorms Securing roads against slipping Securing roads against slipping is carried out on a snowy or icy road surface The aim is to eliminate or limit the adverse impact of winter slipperiness on the conditions and safety of traffic in winter Securing is achieved by spreading mineral materials sandblasting with sand stone fractions slag sand-salt mixture or chemicals sodium chloride The Contractor is obliged to ensure the safety of road traffic and winter maintenance workers during the performance of all activities as well as in compliance with all requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act Equipment on duty at the disposal of the Contracting Authority By providing at least two specialized machines on duty at the disposal of the Contracting Authority the Contractor guarantees that in addition to performing the above-mentioned actions in emergency and or disaster situations it will be able to provide adequate assistance and support to the municipal authorities and the population of the municipality in order to protect the health and property of people in difficult winter road conditions The Contracting Authority may require the Contractor under other conditions to provide equipment on duty Additional remuneration is due from the Contracting Authority for the equipment provided on duty Full information on the scope The scope and technical requirements for the implementation of the public procurement are contained in the Technical Specification an integral part of the participation documentation with tender notice no. 666134-2026 published on 07 Oct 2026.
