The COMMUNITY - STARA ZAGORA in Bulgaria from Europe region has released this tender for The public procurement includes pre-treatment of mixed non-hazardous household waste with code 20 03 01 of Regulation 2 of 23 07 2014 on classification of waste generated on the territory of the Municipality of Stara Zagora The activities include pre-treatment of about 60 000 t year of mixed household waste by separating the waste on a line - owned or rented by the selected Contractor designed and built on a owned or rented site real estate on the territory of the city of Stara Zagora and its adjacent land as well as transporting the remaining waste from the separating line after separation to the site Regional Waste Management Center - Stara Zagora on the land of the village of Rakitnitsa for landfilling or other type of disposal The Contractor should sort at least 40 of waste compared to the total weight of mixed household waste received by him delivered by the Municipality of Stara Zagora The scope of the order also includes the implementation of the objectives of the Municipality of Stara Zagora under Art 31 para 1 item 1 of the Waste Management Act in accordance with the current regulations Before the transfer of the collected quantities of municipal waste to the separation plant the Contracting Authority may provide a representative to measure the weight of the municipal waste on a truck scale The waste sorted from the mixed municipal waste received at the separation plant is the property of the Contractor Waste that is unsuitable for subsequent recovery is transported by the Contractor at its expense to the site Regional Waste Management Center - Stara Zagora in the land of the village of Rakitnitsa for disposal or other type of disposal The costs of designing and building a separation plant with the ability to fulfill the order are at the expense of the Contractor The costs of transporting the waste to the separation plant are at the expense of the Contracting Authority and the costs of transporting the remaining waste after separation from the separation plant to the landfill cell at the site Regional Waste Management Center - Stara Zagora in the land of the village of Rakitnitsa or for other types of disposal are at the expense of the Contractor The Contractor is not liable to pay a fee for landfilling or other types of disposal as well as deductions under Art 60 and 64 of the Waste Management Act with tender notice no. 666524-2026 published on 07 Oct 2026.
