The Government of the Republic of Burundi has obtained a Grant from the World Bank to finance the cost of the Integrated Community Development Project in Burundi "PRODECI-TURIKUMWE" in the amount of 60 million United States Dollars and intends to use part of the amount of this Grant to make payments under contracts with the Offices for the supervision and control of school construction works in the provinces of Muyinga (lot 1 and lot 2), Ngozi (lot 3), Cankuzo and Ruyigi (lot 4) . 2. These Offices will be responsible for providing project management services including the supervision and control of school infrastructure works, the monitoring of environmental, social, health and safety measures as well as the fight against GBV for the account of Buhinyuza, Butihinda, Gasorwe, Giteranyi and Muyinga communes in Muyinga province; Nyamurenza and Tangara communes in Ngozi province; from Cendajuru commune in Cankuzo province; Butaganzwa and Kinyinya communes in Ruyigi province. 3. The detailed Terms of Reference (ToRs) of the assignment can be obtained at the address indicated below. 4. PRODECI-TURIKUMWE invites the Surveillance and Control Offices eligible and available to carry out the mission (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing the services described above. The selection criteria are as follows: • Be an office specializing in the supervision and control of social and/or commercial infrastructure works; • Justify proven experience of at least 5 years in the field; • Have carried out at least two (02) supervision missions for the construction of public buildings during the last 5 years. Have experts meeting the criteria described in the TDRS even if the key experts will not be evaluated at the pre-selection stage. 5. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16 and 3.17 of the “Procurement Regulations for Borrowers seeking Investment Project Financing (FPI) dated July 2016, revised in November 2017 and August 2018 and November 2020”.
