Objectives of the Survey
The objective of Women's economic empowerment and business literacy are following to:
To conduct the survey on AIMS stakeholders’ perspectives on the following aspects:
o effectiveness of actions that AIMS has taken to promote gender awareness;
o respondents’ standpoints on essentiality of gender issue at field, work and for
their communities;
o stakeholders’ knowledge and understanding about gender equality;
o staff’ views on working environment whether it is women friendly.
To conduct a survey on Gender impact assessment, involving females’ income
increment and what they could learn from AIMS’s provided courses so called Business
Literacy in the course of AIMS implementation on AIMS’s GAP.
To monitor and track gender statistics under AIMS’s Gender Action Plan (GAP) 2023
implementation.
The objective of the Annual Outcome Survey is to collect household related information,
agronomic practices, agricultural inputs, cost of production, farm income and marketing in
respect of AIMS supported Value Chain Commodities to derive data on Results and Output
Indicators from all cluster farmers belonged to proposed Multi Stakeholder Platforms in order
to compare and track the progress against the baseline indicators conducted in year 2019,
midterm survey in 2020 and AOS in 2021 and 2022. Specifically, the AOS will compare the
indicators as given below:
a. Focus on key indicators required to measure the goals, outcomes and outputs level as it
was mentioned in the Project’s Logical Framework; (ii) Provide comparison with the
selected baseline survey and midterm indicators that was conducted for the AIMS.
b. Compare HHs AOS data with midterm and baseline data for selected indicators at
outputs, outcomes covering (but not limiting to): demographic conditions, assets, food
security, nutrition, general agriculture conditions, and VCs specific indicators.
c. Compare AOS data with midterm and baseline data on relevant indicators at POs level on prevalent marketing practices, market infrastructures;
d. Assess the level of farmers’ satisfaction and document their opinions/experiences and suggestions/recommendations for the project improvement on how the project has been effective/beneficial to key stakeholders of the project with tender notice no.
