The tender was published by STRATHCONA COUNTY on 26 Mar 2025 for Request for Quotes Rfq 25 0030 gravel road rehabilitation The County is seeking a qualified supplier to provide construction services for the Gravel Roads Rehabilitation Program It is the County s intent to enter into an agreement with the successful respondent for the provision of the Year 1 Deliverables in 2025 as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars Appendix A the Year 1 Deliverables After completion of the Year 1 Deliverables the County at its discretion may engage the successful respondent for the Year 2 2026 and after completion of the Year 2 Deliverables the County at its discretion may engage the successful respondent for the Year 3 2027 Deliverables Deliverables as further described for the Year 2 and Year 3 Deliverables in Section A of the RFQ Particulars Appendix A For clarity references to Deliverables in this RFQ refer to the Year 1 Deliverables and the Year 2 and Year 3 Deliverables Year 1 Deliverables which includes the rehabilitation of 8 5 kilometer 5 3 miles of single lane undivided Class III and IV rural roads at various locations identified in the Gravel Roads Rehabilitation Maps Attachment 6 within Strathcona County The rehabilitated roads will have a uniform paver laid dust-controlled surface with a wide cement stabilized base reclaimed from the existing surface Ditches will be tied in and seeded to accommodate the new road widths if required and culverts removed and replaced as needed Year 2 Deliverables and Year 3 Deliverables will include all aspects of Year 1 Deliverables which are further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars Appendix A the Year 1 Deliverables.
