Consultant to Support Video and Photography for the Open Timber Portal

The tender was published by WORLD RESOURCES INSTITUTE (WRI) on 19 Apr 2023 for Expression of Interest are invited for Consultant to Support Video and Photography for the Open Timber Portal Objectives The consultant’s main task will be to create a video illustrating the different stages of an independent observation mission, of a maximum duration of 5 to 6 minutes, as well as a series of 25 good quality photographs representing independent forest observation work in the Democratic Republic of Congo. • Develop the synopsis of the video to be validated by the WRI/OTP team; • Submit an interview questionnaire to the WRI/OTP team for validation, considering the role of each interviewee; • Conduct the necessary interviews with key actors (in Kinshasa and in province) who will have been identified by OGF and WRI/OTP ; • Capture images (photo and video) of the visit from the Norad team (Maluku) ; • Capture images in the field (photo and video) by taking advantage of the field mission that will be organized by OGF in Mai Ndombe: • Note : the consultant should be informed by WRI/OTP and OGF for any scheduled field visits at least 7 days in advance and 2 days in advance for the interventions he/she will be covering in the city of Kinshasa; • Take photos of the reading committee (comité de lecture) in Kinshasa; • Share the voice-over with OTP team for approval before completing the editing and making the final layout; • Edit the video with French subtitles; • Photo processing and creation of a database for the photos: the set of photos (25) must be provided already edited and ready for use. These will have to be provided via a hard disk that the consultant will put at the disposal of the project at his expense. • Note : OGF, as the mandated IM in the DRC, shall obtain and provide to the consultant and the WRI/OTP team all necessary authorizations for the capture of images (video and still images) at the various filming sites, as well as the agreement of the interviewees to appear in the video..
