II. MISSION OF THE CONSULTANT/FIRM
The consultant/consultancy will have the general mission to design, develop and budget emergency and development projects according to the funding policies of different donors.
Specifically, the consultant will:
Set up a project design, development and budgeting plan according to the lessor's deadline in collaboration with the AARDC team;
Design and produce emergency and development projects defining clear activities, strategy and intervention methodology adapted to the context of the project area;
Define in collaboration with the AA team the target beneficiaries and expected results according to the project canvas;
Design the realistic budget of the concept note according to the framework proposed by the donor by approaching the budgetary policy of ActionAid DRC;
Accompany the technical revision period of the project according to the orientations of the lessor (accompaniment without cost);
Provide technical guidance for the implementation of the project under review.
III. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
The candidate and/or firm must prove and/or provide:
Proven experience in writing emergency and development projects (design, development and budgeting of projects) with several donors, including FH DRC, ECHO/EU, FCDO, ASDI, USAID/BHA, BM, etc.
A clear mastery of the humanitarian context of the DRC.
Sustained experience in ActionAid's priority areas and areas of intervention, including Education, Protection (General Protection, Child Protection and GBV), Food Security and Resilience and other relevant humanitarian areas.
Development and execution of donor engagement strategies with the aim of submitting solicited and unsolicited proposals as needed. with tender notice no.
