The mission of the Consultant will consist of: Monitor, control and validate the execution documents in accordance with the technical specifications provided by the contracting authority and the standards and regulations in force in Côte d'Ivoire; Propose the necessary technical modifications in accordance with the rules of the art in the matter and within the limits of financial resources; Ensure monitoring and control of the execution of the works of all planned infrastructures and ensure their compliance with the relevant technical requirements; Certify the progress of the work carried out by the Companies and guarantee their compliance with the execution plans, standards and rules of the art; Systematically inform the project owner of the progress and forecast of the work and expenses, with an indication of notable developments and report any slippage in relation to the initial execution schedule likely to delay or compromise the completion deadlines ; Check the regularity of the draft monthly accounts or the requests for advances presented by the contractor(s), draw up the statements of installments, check the draft final statement drawn up by the contractor and draw up the general statement; Carry out the necessary technical checks to guarantee the solidity of the works; Organize site visits, periodic and specific meetings; Plan and organize the provisional and final acceptance of the works; Ensure that the deadlines for the execution of the works are respected; Monitor and control the liquidation of markets; Assist the project owner in the event of a dispute over the execution or payment of the work, as well as examine the complaints from the company(s); Represent the contracting authority or take part in all technical meetings for the planning or with tender notice no. 029/ECP.2PAI-NORD/2023 published on 01 Sep 2023.
