The SPLIT-DALMATINA COUNTY in Croatia from Europe region has released this tender for The subject of this public procurement procedure is the supply of electricity, in accordance with the technical characteristics and other required conditions specified in this Procurement Documentation (hereinafter: the Documentation). The electricity supplied must contain at least 50% of electricity from renewable sources. In order to stimulate the production of energy from renewable sources to make it more competitive with energy obtained from conventional sources and to encourage the construction of new sources of renewable energy and achieve sustainable development, the Contracting Authority has determined that electricity must contain the above-mentioned minimum percentage of electricity from renewable sources. Renewable energy sources are renewable non-fossil energy sources, namely wind energy, solar energy, aerothermal, geothermal and hydrothermal energy, sea energy, watercourse energy, energy from biomass, gas from landfills, gas from wastewater treatment plants and biogas (Law on the Electricity Market, Official Gazette, No. 111/21 and 83/23). As confirmation of the fulfillment of the requirements on the origin of electricity, the selected bidder (Supplier) is obliged, upon the delivery of electricity based on each one-year public procurement contract, to submit to the Contracting Authority a valid certificate from the Register of Guarantees of Origin of Electricity, issued by an independent body for issuing guarantees of origin of electricity, which confirms that at least 50% of the delivered electricity (i.e. the percentage share of electricity specified in the tender of the selected bidder) was produced from renewable energy sources. The selected bidder (Supplier) is obliged to submit the certificate of origin of electricity to the Contracting Authority in accordance with the Methodology for Determining the Origin of Electricity (“Official Gazette” No. 133/14 and 127/19). In the event that the selected bidder (Supplier) does not submit the requested certificate, or in the event that the selected bidder (Supplier) does not prove by the submitted certificate that it has duly delivered the percentage share of electricity from renewable sources specified in its tender, the aforementioned action shall be considered a breach of contractual obligations. with tender notice no. 697068-2026 published on 09 Oct 2026.
