In accordance with the main project, the total gross area of ​​the building is approximately 36,000 m2, and the project includes 3 units: reconstruction of the existing buildings of the Paromlina industrial complex (transmission buildings, flour warehouses and silos) which represent cultural heritage, facsimile reconstruction of the mill building, and construction of a new building. The planned contents of the building are organized into 3 underground and 3 above-ground floors of the new part of the building, and 5 newly planned above-ground floors of the so-called ''Facsimile'', 6 above-ground floors of the ''Transmission'' and ''Silos'' buildings and 5 above-ground floors of the ''Flour Warehouse''. The new City Library building contains spaces intended for the public, office spaces and book storage spaces, service spaces, and a garage with technical spaces. The spaces intended for the public, among other things, include halls for various events, a multimedia and conference hall, the spaces of the Department for Children and Youth with a media library, the spaces of the Information and Lending Department for Adults, the spaces of the Music Department, and the spaces of the City Library Collections. The subject of the procurement is the equipping of the City Library of the City of Zagreb and the Paromlin socio-cultural center - mobile archive racks and special library equipment.
